They have a lot of cushion and are pretty durable (they took a few good hits and kept working fine). Great sound and EXTREMELY comfortable according to my child. Used them mainly on travel, so they could watch movies on the laptop while flying and in airport.
She didn't have any trouble hearing hearing over the plane's ambient noise. She wore them on the plane and in the airport. Most of all, my delicate head phones were not an option for her and she didn't mind. Love these headphones. Large enough to find easily in her backpack.
